Do you make/sell a CD with the proofs /photographs from the photo session? No. Original Proofs (negative, digital files) remain the property of PhotoRig Studio and are not for sale.
What is the turn-around time for portraits? After placing your order, your finished portraits will be ready for you in approximately three to four weeks. Canvas portraits may take extra time if you order it with artist brush strokes.
How do I care for my Canvas portrait? All canvas prints are coated with a special UV coating to prevent fading and scratching, but like all fine art, prints should never be hung in direct sunlight. Never spray the surface with anything…just wipe with a cloth to dust.
Can my color photo be converted to B & W or sepia? Yes, we can create Black and White, or Sepia prints with all the warmth and beauty of toned images. We also can create prints with “hand” coloring effect.
Can you restore my antique photo which is damaged? Yes. We use state of the art computer technology which allows us to correct faded images, repair tears, stains and other disfigurements in your photo. We can even recreate missing areas. Check out our restoration section for examples.
Can you frame a canvas portrait that I order from you? Yes. We will give you a selection of frames to choose from. Once you select the type of frame we will estimate the cost.
Can I bring along friend or relative that will not participate in the photo session? We ask that just one parent come to the session. Please do not bring personal assistant, grandmas, nannies, or friends. Only siblings and people that are to be photographed should be present in the studio. We would like to focus all attention on you or your child and with limited space, the distraction can limit the success of the portrait session. We ask that you please honor this policy. Your guests are more than welcome at the preview session.
